Marked by the return of Raul Gazolla to the musical that launched his career, *A Chorus Line* graced the stage of the Teatro Villa-Lobos in São Paulo.

Forty-two years after the historic 1983 Brazilian production, Raul returned to the stage to play Zach, the demanding director who drives the plot.

This new version—adapted by Miguel Falabella and directed and choreographed by Bárbara Guerra—celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Broadway masterpiece created by Michael Bennett, a winner of nine Tony Awards.

The musical tells the story of a group of dancers competing in a tense, revealing audition for a few spots in the cast of a new show, exposing the dreams, fears, and sacrifices of those who live for the stage.
