Inspired by the song by Caetano Veloso and the Tropicalist movement, it was launched in 2017. The show celebrated the 50th anniversary of Tropicalism—which emerged in 1967, the year the song was released and became a landmark of the movement. The musical, written and directed by Moacyr Góes, premiered at the Teatro Santander in São Paulo and featured Zélia Duncan as one of the lead performers.
